Ivy Glass was first established in 1999 by Brian and Rebecca Iverson in a 1969 International school bus on Eagle Mountain in Jefferson County, WA. They purchased lampworking equipment and supplies from a tiny business in Shelton, WA and immediately fell in love with the medium and process.

Over two decades have passed since and the industry grew exponentially over that period. Brian and Rebecca spent years learning the craft, teaching and collaborating with friends and artists.

Rebecca grew up in Port Townsend and spend her childhood on the water as a member of a fishing family. She loves the Pacific Northwest and spends a lot of time traipsing all over the Olympic Peninsula, finding inspiration in the natural beauty and complex ecosystems.

Brian grew up in the Yakima Valley, on the eastside of Washington. He spent his childhood exploring the foothills of the Cascade Mountains before joining the US Navy after high school and travelling the world. He landed in Port Townsend in 1999 and fell in love with the Olympic Peninsula. He spent years commercial fishing in Alaska while pursuing his love of glass art in the offseason.
